Terms and Conditons 2025

Generally, it's all simple Camping Etiquette. Be considerate of your neighbour and respectful of the surroundings. Thats all you’ll really need for a great stay with us.  

 

Below are the full T&Cs, please take the time to read them to ensure a great stay for everyone. 

 

Key T&Cs 

 

Check-in 11:30am until 10:00pm 

Check-out by 11:00am 

Groups no larger than 4 people unless by prior arrangement 

Awnings, Gazebos and Pup Tents are free provided that they fit within an 8m x 9m pitch. 

Cars can be parked on the pitches provided that the entire setup fits within the 8m x 9m pitch. Otherwise, additional parking will need to be purchased. 

Each pitch is for one sleeping unit only. No multiple tents or Campervan/Tent Combinations 

Quiet Time should be observed between 9:30pm and 9:00am. This doesn’t mean turn audio equipment down, it means turn it off.  

 

 Admission  

 

Guests under the age of 16 are not allowed on site. Under 18s must be accompanied by parents or legal guardians.  

Arrivals and departures Arrivals accepted from 11:30pm until 10:00pm. Arrivals are not accepted outside these times.  

Site Gates are locked between 10:15pm and 7:00am, for admission or exit between these times please contact Crowdecote Campsite directly in advance.  

We reserve the right to refuse admission without refund outside of the above Check-in times.  

 

Booking Conditions  

 

A minimum of 10% of the total booking fee is payable at the point of booking 10% of the total booking fee is non-refundable after the point of booking.  

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.  

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.  

Bookings cannot be amended within 7 days of arrival.  

No refund will be given for cancellations within 7 days of arrival  

 

Dogs 

 

Dogs Owner's must take responsibility for their dogs at all times.  

Dogs must be under direct supervision. Please do not allow dogs to "roam" off the lead.  

Dogs must be kept on leads when outside of the Camping Field, the Campsite is located on a working farm with livestock and is also adjacent to a public footpath. On a personal note, our children are also afraid of dogs due to a previous incident. For this reason, please note that we will, unfortunately, have to ask any guests ignoring these requests to leave and no refund will be given.  

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa. This is a requirement specified by our Insurer.  

Dog Waste must be collected and disposed of by the Owner, this doesn’t just apply to the site but also the surrounding area. Anyone caught ignoring this request will be asked to leave site immediately with no refunds.  

 

Extras 

 

Extras Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.  

Pup Tents are not to be used as Sleeping Units  

 

General  

 

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.  

Generators are not permitted.  

Quiet hours must be respected between 9:30 p.m. and 9 a.m. all During this time music, radios and TVs should have sound turned OFF between.  

Car doors, boots, sliding doors must be closed quietly. 

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.  

The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.  

 Only one sleeping unit is allowed per pitch.  

Multiple tents, or tents and campervans on one pitch will not be accepted.  

Pup tents, awnings and gazeboes are not to be used as sleeping units.  

 

Pitches and Pitching 

 

A cable measuring at least 10 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.  

Pitches are 8m x 9m and are the area allocated for everything including guests' vehicles.  

If more space is required for parking, then extra parking must be purchased.  

Pitches are marked out around the edge of the field by posts. Please pitch BETWEEN posts.  

 

Reception  

 

There is no reception on-site: on arrival, please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation or knock on at the Barn Conversion next to the Campsite.  

If you are confident that you can identify an available pitch and wish to pitch yourself then you may do so unless you have been previously advised not to.  

For example; sometimes during inclement weather we ask guests to wait at the gate on arrival so that we can find a suitable pitch for the type of unit.  

Safety Firearms are not permitted.  

Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as most of the site is unlit. 

 

Vehicles  

 

No vehicle movement between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. If you wish to move a vehicle between these times it is advisable to park off-site.  

 

Visitors  

 

Visitors are not permitted on site unless permission is confirmed with the Site Owner. Any permitted guests must be vacated by 7pm.  

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site unless permission is confirmed with the Site Owner.
